Jeff and Megan live in Chicago and are busy preparing for their big wedding day which is coming up quickly on September 10, 2011. They love exploring and touring the sights of the windy city together. They don’t need to spend money and go to a comedy club to have a good laugh together. The funniest moments in their relationship happen when they are just together and spontaneously start laughing uncontrollably. What a gift to be able to laugh together! Don’t let that ever die in your relationship.

Jeff and Megan will be getting married on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan. There hasn’t been a wedding in this family for quite some time, so the anticipation is building for Jeff and Megan’s family and friends as they are getting ready to celebrate the union of this special couple.

Apparently Jeff didn’t win Megan’s heart through his cooking and Megan will most likely be doing most of the tasty cooking in their marriage! They will know it is a tasty meal based on their “smack scale.” They rate the tastiness of their meals based on how many times somebody smacks their lips during the meal. Hmmm, I’m going to have to start watching my family as they eat my meals and see how good of a cook I am!

If Jeff and Megan are not out and about having fun in Chicago, then you are likely to find them relaxing in Northwestern Michigan, admiring English Bulldogs, or watching Michigan State football. When I asked Jeff and Megan about the wedding proposal, they both started laughing as they told me the story. Jeff had many surprises up his sleeve including proposing to Megan on the sandy beach of Lake Michigan and then bringing her back to a big surprise engagement party. (Points for you Jeff!) Megan wasn’t feeling the greatest that day and just wanted to stay in comfy clothes and watch college football. Of course Jeff couldn’t just tell Megan why she needed to get off the couch, shower and get dressed. In the end, it all worked out and now Jeff and Megan are getting married and have a proposal story with some humor in it!

I had such a fantastic time getting to know these two at their engagement session and I know that we are going to have a blast together in September.
