A mother had a sense about the future of Nick and Natalie. Yes, it is true, they were introduced and hooked up by their mother! And she was right!

On September 24, Nick and Natalie were married at a full Catholic mass that resembled a wedding that would be found in an ancient cathedral of Europe. The pipe organ rang out and echoed around the large cathedral as Natalie walked down the extra long aisle on the arm of her father. The decor of the cathedral was stunning and set the perfect stage for their ceremony. Their bridal party accompanied them at the front with the bridesmaids wearing elegant floor length black bridesmaids dresses and carrying vibrant pink and purple wedding bouquets.

The guests at Founders Brewing Company received a surprise as Nick and Natalie served them their local microbrew from behind the bar! These were some fun and unique wedding photos to capture and definitely a first for me!

Rain could not put a damper on the white tent reception that took place on the massive property of Nick’s parents. The atmosphere was fun and guests danced the night away to what was truly the best wedding music I have ever heard! Nick and Natalie’s friends played guitar, violin, and sang and my jaw continually dropped at how incredibly talented they were!

The weather was sunny and gorgeous on a September afternoon as Jeff and Megan were married near the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan. Their family and friends came together to celebrate this union of man and woman.

Their ceremony was a full Catholic mass at St. James Catholic Church. The  beautiful bride and groom rode with their friends aboard an open air trolley to snap photos at a small park along Lake Michigan. We sank our toes in the warm sand and climbed onto the dunes to get photos that were fun and unique. To cap all of this off, they hosted an extravagant reception at a Country Club. Purple accent lights and custom made centerpieces set the stage for a night of celebrating!

As we found out in Jeff and Megan’s engagement photos post, if they are not out and about having fun in Chicago, then you are likely to find them relaxing in Northwestern Michigan, admiring English Bulldogs, or watching Michigan State football. When I asked Jeff and Megan about the wedding proposal, they both started laughing as they told me the story. Jeff had many surprises up his sleeve including proposing to Megan on the  beach and then bringing her back to a big surprise engagement party. (Points for you Jeff!) Megan wasn’t feeling the greatest that day and just wanted to stay in comfy clothes and watch college football. Of course Jeff couldn’t just tell Megan why she needed to get off the couch, shower and get dressed. In the end, it all worked out and now they are happily married! All the best to both of you as you begin this fun and exciting adventure together as husband and wife.
